Waverley For Me (or Fayme as she is know at home), is a very striking filly with a wonderful frame, four long white socks and a half moon on her forehead. She has a very strong topline and plenty of bone. She has three correct paces, with her trot and canter being powerful, uphill and expressive, and such strong hocks she gives the impression of a future advanced horse already. She is friendly, seeks contact, loves attention and follows her mother and people diligently. Her mother Waverley Frizzante is the daughter of international Grand Prix stallion For Compliment by Fidermark, who represented Switzerland at the World Equestrian Games. We bred her out of Waverley Dalloway and retained her for her wonderful temperament, her super conformation and fabulous paces and her very beautiful face. Fizz is such a kind and trainable mare - backing her was as easy as falling off a log - and it seems that this filly has inherited her dam's temperament.
Sire Danone is an exceptional sire and a proven maker of dressage horses, with numerous offspring at Grand Prix and Small Tour. Danone is known for his impressive uphill frame, expressive active paces and above all his great ability to collect. Danone was the 2003 Swedish licensing champion, was a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden 2006, and by 2012, Danone was winning at national grand prix under Theresa Wahler. The blood of Weltmeyer (stallion licensing champion, performance test winner and bundeschampion) features on both sides of the pedigree - the 2018 Hanoverian Stud book, records Weltmeyer with 1684 competitors, and €2,717,620 in winnings. Twenty two of his dressage competitors earned over €10,000, with Warum Nicht the major source of income with €738,362. He is the sire of 86 licensed sons.
Based in the heart of England (near Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire - home of the British Dressage National Championships) we breed and train a small number of dressage horses each year. Using only Elite or State Premium Dressage mares of good character, together with the best international stallions (all of which are Performance Tested and proven) our stock is of exceptional quality and trainability.
Leni won the 4 year old class at Manor Grange yesterday with a score of 8.46. He was an absolute star. Thrilled with him. He has a real work ethic and three fabulous paces, so we're excited about his future.
