Hotline// A Dark Bay Hanoverian Stallion.
Full Name: Hotline
Breeding Summary: Hofrat / De Niro / Wendepunkt
Dam: De Nira
Colour: Dark Bay
Hotline is turning into a very impressive stallion in terms of both competition and breeding. He is a wonderfully elegant, well made stallion, with dynamic swinging movement and the highest willingness to work. His offspring are known for their supreme rideability. In his stallion performance test he scored 137.44 overall for first place, with a Dressage score of 149.28. In 2008 he placed first in the Danish Bundeschampionat and a year later, he won the qualifier with 9.45 and became reserve champion. He competed successfully at advanced level in dressage by the age of seven, and, when he was eight years old, he won Prix St. Georges at the Danish licensing in Herning.
His 93 successful progeny have chalked up 8370 Euro in competition winnings - the oldest are four years-old. Of these just 72 horses collected 174 ribbons in tests for young riding horses, including finalists and medal winners at the Bundeschampionat.
In 2010, Hotline's first crop made its debut under saddle. Most notably Horizon was sold for 550,000 Euro at the PSI Auction, and Halifax placed among the best five at the Bundeschampionat. Nine sons, including reserve champion of the 2010' South German licensing High Spirit, are already licensed. And at the 2011 PSI Auction Hotline offspring were in as high demand as ever: Hopkins fetched 305,000 Euro, Hot Dance 100,000 Euro and Hot Spot 200,000 Euro. His daughter Sirikit became champion mare in Denmark in 2010.
Hofrat, Hotline's full Trakehner sire, is another beautiful and prepotent black son of the international Grand Prix dressage stallion EH Gribaldi. Hofrat stood Reserve Champion in 2000, qualifed for the Bundeschampionat in 2001, 2002 and 2004; took Trakehner Champion in 2002; achieved a dressage index of 136 (2nd place) at his Adelheitsdorf performance testing in 2003; and in 2005 produced the licensing champion (Körungssieger) and most expensive Stallion in Verden.
Gribaldi, a Keur stallion for KWPN, was champion of his approval (in 1995). Through his sire Kostolany (Champion NMS 1987) he is a member of the Pasteur xx-Mahagoni stallion line. That particular stallion line has produced the Olympic Bronze medalist Peron TSF (M. Gibson/USA) as well as the international dressage horses Chronos ( Denmark ) and Marlon (France). Kostolany's sire Enrico Caruso. It stands for high rideability and great performance and can be found at the top of the USDF stallion lists in recent years. Hofrat's dam line is excellent too. His dam, who also produced the Reserve Champion Hoftänzer, is a daughter of Guter Planet, a son of the impeccable major sire EH Consul with a very good reputation in Hanover .
Hotline's dam's sire is by De Niro, with his dam-line coming from Wendepunkt. Wendepunkt was stationed in Walle as a sire from 1975 to 1979, where he was prolific in his production of sports horses for all disciplines, approved sons, Verden auction horses and invaluable brood mares, before going to England to continue his career. In 1991, he became the overall winner of the British Warmblood Show in his new home and his son Wendeweg was celebrated as the best British bred stallion that very same year. Wendepunkt established a breeding reputation for himself in Germany primarily as the dam-sire of the highly esteemed Akzent II sons Acapulco and Alabaster.
This horse is part of our breeding programme bloodline, we DO NOT offer semen.

'Monik is just super. A really happy lady to have around. She lives with
her best buddy Nora (a KWPN broodmare) and they are excellent mates!' (Oct 2011). 'She is a fabulous mum and was indeed five days early as you said
she would be! She is a joy to have around. She lives out with her other
broodmare friend and despite the ridiculous weather is pretty happy!' (Jun 2012)
Just thought I'd let you know how Rocco is doing - he is
absolutely massive I'm sure he's going to make about 18h at this rate!
But he'll be big anyway like you said and just what I wanted. He's a
lovely boy and stands very good when having his foal feet trimmed. He
let's me go into him and make a fuss - he's so easy to handle - unlike my other foal who is an evil monster in miniature! Hope you and horses are well x (Apr 2012)
