Waverley Night Music// A Black Oldenburg Colt.
Full Name: Waverley Night Music
Stable Name: Nemo
Breeding Summary: Negro (Pref.) / Special D / Equador
Sire: Negro (Pref.)
Approved By: Will be branded and microchipped Oldenburg
This gem of a jet black colt was born just after dinner on Saturday May 2nd, 2015. He is by Negro the sire of superstar Valegro, and is line bred to Olympic Ferro (Ferro being the sire of both Negro and Metall). A strong, energetic colt with long, correct limbs he also has wonderfully expressive paces in trot and canter. We named him Waverley Night Music (after Mozart's masterpiece) because it seemed to suit his elegance and lovely cadanced movement; and called him Nemo for short because he's so cute! He has inherited his mother's beautiful face, and has a charming 'dished' profile. We expect him to make 16.2 -16.3 hands (he has a white sock of equal height, to just over the fetlocks, on each of his back legs).
His mother Zouelle is an exceptionally beautiful mare with 3 good paces, a big walk and super canter. She comes from a Champion Stallion line and ’ blue chip’ dam line with many Preferent and Keur mares. This is a family of sporthorses, on the mother's as well as the father's side, with three of Zouelle's siblings on the dam's side competing advanced or above. She is by Special D (Metall/Olympic Ferro) an Inter I level dressage champion in his own right, but also an increasingly successful sire with several Grand Prix children, champion mares and the 2014 Pave cup qualifer and 2013 National Champion for Young Horses in the UK, Eldorado to his name.
Father Negro is by Olympic Ferro out of a mare line with many predicates. He was Dutch champion stallion in 2000 and 2001, and was the best KWPN horse contesting the 2001 World Championships in Verden. He competed Small Tour successfully, winning three of his four starts; and debuted Grand Prix with a winning score of 72.50%, showing exceptional talent for piaffe and passage. His career highlights include: 2012: Awarded Preferent status by the KWPN (due to success of children in the sport); 2012: KWPN Dressage Index 150 (92%); 2010: KWPN Dressage Index:143; 2009: Awarded Keur status by the KWPN; 2002: Prix st. George debut; 2001: Zwolle stallion show champion 6 year old; 2000: Zwolle stallion show champion 5 year old; 1998: Reserve champion of performance test. His children are known for their cooperative nature, inquisitiveness, hard work, and the number 1 Negro trade mark - great hind leg use.

'Monik is just super. A really happy lady to have around. She lives with
her best buddy Nora (a KWPN broodmare) and they are excellent mates!' (Oct 2011). 'She is a fabulous mum and was indeed five days early as you said
she would be! She is a joy to have around. She lives out with her other
broodmare friend and despite the ridiculous weather is pretty happy!' (Jun 2012)
Just thought I'd let you know how Rocco is doing - he is
absolutely massive I'm sure he's going to make about 18h at this rate!
But he'll be big anyway like you said and just what I wanted. He's a
lovely boy and stands very good when having his foal feet trimmed. He
let's me go into him and make a fuss - he's so easy to handle - unlike my other foal who is an evil monster in miniature! Hope you and horses are well x (Apr 2012)
